ACHIEVEMENT OF ISO 22301:2019 AND ISO/IEC 27001:2013 CERTIFICATION

We are delighted to inform you that Coronation Registrars Limited attained the PECB Management System Certification on 23 August 2021. In other words, we have been assessed and certified to have successfully complied with the management system requirements for Information Security, ISO 22301:2019 and Business Continuity, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 respectively. 
This milestone and the acquired capabilities thereof, demonstrate our dedication to global best practices and standards in protecting the confidentiality and integrity of our stakeholders/enterprise assets, and assures the continued resilience of our business operations and systems in the event of any disruption.
The integrated management system (IMS) enhances our ability to create value to key stakeholder groups including customers, business partners, regulators, and the larger economy.
  • ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 is the accepted global benchmark for the effective management of information assets. The Standard ensures that we consistently meet the regulatory requirements of NDPR (Nigerian Data Protection Regulation) as well as prevent financial and/or reputational risks resulting from data breaches.
  • ISO 22301: 2019 is the accepted standard that specifies security requirements for disaster recovery preparedness and business continuity management systems (BCMS). We now have a practical framework for managing an effective business continuity management system, providing a safeguard in a wide range of potential threats and disruptions. This further validates our assurance to our stakeholders that we can overcome operational disruptions and continue to speedily provide effective service.
  • The attainment of these certifications affords our stakeholders an independent opinion about our security posture. To achieve this, third party assessment will be employed to provide the assurance that the IMS is functioning appropriately; providing the level of security needed for customer/stakeholder information.
In conclusion, we are better positioned to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from unexpected and disruptive incidents e.g. disruption; pandemic, fire outbreak, while maintaining global standards in information security and protection of organizational and third-party information.
